A huge thank you to my colleagues in Legal, Risk and Audit at the John Lewis Partnership who hosted a John Lewis Christmas Ad themed bake sale to support my climb. The standard of baking was exceptional and I am delighted (and very humbled) to say that we raised an amazing £267.20, with the potential for some additional sales tomorrow. Entries included:

• a chocolate "Man on the Moon" cake;
• chocolate cheesecake , chocolate and plain "Jump Buster Jump" cupcakes;
• a chocolate and salted caramel "Edgar" - winner of star baker;
• a "Bear [and no] Hare" carrot cake;
• an "Edgar's Present" carrot cake;
• a "Man on the Moon" carrot cake - second prize;
• a "Monty the Penguin" Oreo cheesecake;
• a "Snowman" carrot cake; as well as
• some Christmas tree cupcakes and Biscotti
